I chose to study here because I wanted to use, explore and develop my creativity, which is ultimately all I've wanted to do. I spent a year at Imperial College before this, studying Medicine in order to become a Doctor. I changed because it was too fixed and narrow for me. I have the people skills to make a good doctor but it turns out science bores me. My hobbies all stem from the arts, design and technology so, although it took me a year in Medicine to realise this, it makes sense for me to do what I most enjoy. The Design, Creativity & Learning programme offers me a good foundation of creative thinking, theories and philosophies, as well as hands-on designing, which sounds precisely like what I need to start.
